Status

March 5, 2009: This project is currently inactive... and will probably be abandonned/archived soon ! Thanks

Short Description

SecCube introduces a media-independant record based crypto-system, designed for simplified OS portability and small environments. It therefore provides an easily deployable, portable and secure waller for your personal data. Data may be stored in a secured format on hard disk, flash etc. This storage format can be read and modified from various OS (Windows, Linux...).

Date Description
April 2006 it was decided major modifications were needed. Those modifications are currently being designed. It is anticipated most (all ?) of the code and design shall be modified (actually, basically, only the argument parser should remain 'as is'). However, the motivations, rationale and goals for SecCube haven't changed. Note that currently, specifications are currently under progress.
September 2005 - February 2006 This project was initiated in September 2005 as an internship project. The students, David Hurlimann and Andreas Huber, worked part time on this project till February 2006. They were supervised by Refik Molva (Eurecom) and Axelle Apvrille (Trusted Logic).

For more information on the project, please contact Axelle Apvrille.
